Week 1: Day 1

Day 1 of my body transformation began today. I started it by changing up my routine. I hadn't been to the gym in months so I finally went today. I also went grocery shopping and have decided that in order for this body transformation to be successful, I need to be more aware of what I am eating and eat healthier. On top of that all, I am going to start planning ahead more to try and limit the stress I have therefore I will be in a better mood and more motivated to work out and eat healthier.

I'm not quite sure where this motivation all of a sudden came from, all I know is that this is one of those things that I have never wanted more and the best part about it all is that I am doing it for ME. I know that the end result will be well worth it and cannot wait to start seeing improvements and results - hopefully soon! I suppose the reason behind it all is that I feel as if I have let myself go.. I'm not saying I think that I'm fat or anything crazy but that I'm not allowing myself to be all that I can be and the slight weight gain has adversely affected my mood and self-esteem already. However don't think that I'm just simply trying to lose weight and be slim. Oh no, I'm going after a far more greater goal than that. I have yet to specify the exact stipulations for the goal in which I want to achieve but I know that I want to be lean, with muscle and strength. Maybe even try and compete one day! Who knows. All I know is that I couldn't be even more excited about this new found love for the gym and to look fan-freaking-tastic in the end.

Status: 110 on a good day... 114 on a bad day. Still have yet to measure body fat percentage. Was able to run 2 miles in about 20 minutes - that DEFINITELY needs to improve. Everything else wasn't too far off from where I was at before I started going to the gym strength wise although I have noticed a slight decrease.

To-Do/Short-Term Goals: Measure body fat percentage, cook more often, sleep more than 6 hours a night somehow, work on running, work on pull-ups, go to the gym at least every other day for now.. That's all I can think of for now.

Long-Term Goals: Get freakin' diesel and look amazing!!!!!!!

Perhaps one day I will be here.. :) Maybe not so far from now!
